ARTIFACT: This is a rare DI for the United States Army 64th Engineer Topographic Battalion from early in the World War II Occupation Period. The DI shows a curious scribe figure writing with a quill pen upon the globe.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II Occupation Period.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The DI you receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months MBEX13 LHEX5/13 S(1)HEX5/15 S(2)HEX11/18

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI has very little wear.
