Beautiful Early Occupation Period US Army 705th Tank Destroyer BN DI German-Made

Beautiful early Occupation Period, late 1940's United States Army 705th Tank Destroyer Battalion distinctive insignia, German-made. The center shows a red 'burst' or 'explosion' surrounded by a white cloud against a blue background and a scroll along the bottom reads: "ONE ROUND" in black enameled detail.

Circa late 1940's

Approximately 1-1/8" in height x 7/8" in width.

Gilt brass, enamel.

Vertical safety style pin with a "C" type catch.
