WWII Sterling Silver "DI" for US Army 812th Tank Destroyer Bn

This is a sterling silver distinctive insignia by for the United States Army 812th Tank Destroyer Battalion. This insignia shows a hawk about to pick up its prey and reads I STRIKE SWIFTLY.

Circa World War II.

1-1/4" height and 15/16" width.

Gold-plated sterling silver with black enamel.

Single screw pin with disc backing.
