ARTIFACT:  This is a German-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 776th Tank Destroyer Battalion. The DI is a red, yellow and blue crest showing a feathered headdress, a horn and a caveman's head and reads DISCOVER THEN DESTROY.

VINTAGE: WWII

SIZE: 1-1/4" height and 1-3/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): DI shows very little wear and enamel is fully intact.
