Extremely Rare WWII US Army 39th Engineer Combat Battalion DI by Newcome

This is an extremely rare World War II distinctive insignia for the United States Army 309th Engineer Combat Battalion. The DI is in enameled sterling silver and was made by H.R. Newcome of New York City. The DI reads FOREVER FORWARD.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

Sterling silver, enamel.

Vertical pin on bar with come-under locking swivel catch.
