This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 39th Engineer Battalion by Vanguard. The DI shows Paul Bunyan's ox Babe and reads FIGHT, BUILD AND DESTROY.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height x 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two clutch posts.
MARKINGS:VANGUARD V21.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. R/A93 LABX10/11 SABX10/20
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows some light wear and abrasions.
