This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 39th Engineer Battalion by Ira Green. The DI shows Paul Bunyan's ox Babe and reads FIGHT, BUILD AND DESTROY.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height by 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:G23 IRA GREEN CO. MADE IN USA.
