This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 547th Engineer Battalion by Meyer. The DI is a silver and red crest and reads BRIDGE BUILDERS.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts (one is missing).
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LAJX10/11
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The DI has only light wear but one of the posts are missing.
