ARTIFACT: This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States 106th Engineer Battalion. The DI shows a fleur-de-lis above a jagged line and reads VIRTUTE ET ARMIS (by valor and arms).

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1 x1"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: 1E.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. R/EJ92 LABX10/11 SABX08/19

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The DI has several light abrasions and some small spots of light tarnish.
