This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States 563rd Engineer Battalion. The DI shows a seven-pointed white star above a body of water enclosed by fortress walls and reads PER DUCTUM EFFICIENTIA (efficiency through leadership).
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:MADE IN U.S.A. E25.
