ARTIFACT: This is a pin made for a member of the United States Army Air Force who made an emergency jump in an Eagle Parachute Company chute. The pin is badge shaped and shows a sterling eagle soaring over a parachute with banners reading "Eagle Parachute Corp" in red, white and blue enamel.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: 3/4" height and 1/2" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with red, white and blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "STERLING " on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII Army Air Force badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJJX09

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Badge has retained its true colors and there is only some oxidation and left-over adhesive on reverse.
