ARTIFACT:

Rare, early WWII Royal Air Force "Bailout" Pin from the G.Q. Parachute Co. 2nd type silver plated brass depicting a man and parachute with wings & marked GQ. This badge was awarded to members whose lives were saved by GQ chutes, similar to the Caterpillar Club.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII

SIZE:

1 5/16" x 11/16"

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver plated brass with no enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under "C" clasp.
