Rare Early WWII US Army Transportation Service Officer Overseas Cap Badge by Gemsco

Rare WWII United States Army Transportation Corps Officer overseas cap badge in sterling and 10K gold fill by Gemsco. The cap badge is an eagle, wings spread, and standing atop a US Shield with crossed anchors behind. The center shows an applied disc that features a ship's wheel bearing a shield with a winged wheel. The reverse reads: "GEMSCO STERLING – 1/20 10K G.F."

Sterling, 10K gold-filled, multi-piece construction

Horizontal pin with come under locking swivel catch
