ARTIFACT:

This is a Rare Early WWII Us Army Transportation Service Boat Officer Visor Hat Badge by GEMSCO on original Band.

VINTAGE:

Early WWII.

SIZE:

Approximately Badge: 2-1/2" in height x 2-1/2" in width. Band: 24" in length x 1-1/2" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt Brass, wool felt.

ATTACHMENT:

Two screw posts with disc (nut) backings.

N/A.

CONDITION:

8+(Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows minor and light tarnish most on the front top part, and it has one small moth hole on the right side band.
