Sterling WWII US Army Transportation Service Officer Hat Badge by Gemsco

This is a beautiful World War II United States Army Transportation Service officer cap badge in sterling silver by Gemsco. The badge shows an eagle bearing n enameled crest perched atop two crossed anchors.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

Gold-plated sterling silver with enamel.

Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization posts.

8 (Excellent-): The badge shows light wear and tarnish. Only a very tiny chip in the top of the enamel shield is present as a defect, and it s barely noticeable to the naked eye.
