Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a rare, early World War II United States Army Transportation Service officer overseas cap badge. The badge shows an eagle atop two crossed anchors. At center is a crest with a winged wheel insignia.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

1/20 10K gold-filled.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS:

1/20-10K and some obliterated letters starting with EX.
