This is a rare World War II United States Coast Guard Officer overseas cap badge. The badge is in gold and silver bullion upon wool felt and shows an eagle perched upon a horizontal anchor.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in bullion thread, mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
