This is a sterling United States Coast Guard officer overseas cap badge by Vanguard. The badge is an eagle bearing a shield of stars and stripes perched upon a sideways anchor.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1-1/8" height and 1-3/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt sterling.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under swivel catch.
MARKINGS:VANGUARD N.Y. 20-10K GF.
