Rare 1948-1949 Woody Woodpecker Decal for US Navy 2nd VF-93

This is a rare circa 1948-1949 decal for the United States Navy 2nd VF-93 fighter squadron featuring Woody Woodpecker, who was officially approved as the group's insignia in January 194This squadron existed from August 1948 until November 1949 and was carrier-based, flying F8F Bearcats. We have matching jacket patch for this decal listed separately.
