This is a rare 39 star United States flag that is silk-screened on silk dating to between 1876-188The flag has a wonderful star pattern made up of two concentric circles surrounding a lone star with one star at each corner of the blue field.
VINTAGE:Circa 1876-1889.
SIZE:Approximately 17-3/4" in height and 19-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk-screened silk; metal frame with glass.
ATTACHMENT:Brackets with wire.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The flag has some small areas of light to medium discoloration, mostly near its stitched borders, and the frame has some small spots of light wear.
