ARTIFACT: Extremely rare WWII United States Army Air Forces leather Aviation Engineers pocket or jacket patch. Aviation Engineers were tasked with building and defend air bases. The silk-screened patch depicts a soldier riding a winged tank against a background of blue and a white outer ring that reads: "AVIATION ENGINEERS" in red detail.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3-7/8" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk-screened leather

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX16 LEGEX12/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows mild to moderate wear, adhesive residue on reverse, much of the silk-screened detail remains intact, overall very fine condition.
