ARTIFACT: This is a circa Korean War era Japanese-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 17th Infantry Regiment. The DI shows a buffalo beneath a fortified wall, along with other symbols.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts, one clutchback.


ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX13 LDEX2/13

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI shows only light wear.
