ARTIFACT: This is an either Japanese- or Korean-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 17th Infantry Regiment. The DI is a blue crest showing a buffalo beneath a brick wall along with other symbols.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: 1-1/8" height and 1-1/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with plastic discs.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX07 LDEX10/10

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): DI shows small spots of light wear and tarnish.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
