Mid-Late 1960s USS Virgo AE-30 Ship Lighter by Ronson Typhoon of Hong Kong

This is a circa mid- to late 1960s United States Navy ship lighter for the ammunition ship USS Virgo AE-30, launched June 4, 1944, initially as an attack cargo ship (USS Virgo AKA-20). The lighter was made by Ronson Typhoon of Hong Kong. It has an applied enamel medallion and is excellent condition.

Circa mid-late 1960s.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width and 5/8" in thickness.

Gold-plated brass, enamel.

Hinge.
