This is a late 1980s or early 1990s submarine patch for the USS Michigan (SSBN-727). She was launched at Groton, Connecticut on April 26, 1980 and is still in service. The patch reads TUEBOR (I will defend), the state of Michigan's motto.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1980s - early 1990s.
SIZE:Approximately 5-1/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The patch shows hardly any wear.
