This is a 1990's submarine patch for the USS Maine (SSBN-741). The Maine was launched at Groton, Connecticut on July 16 199She is still active. The patch bears the ship's motto: LEADERSHIP PEACE VIGILANCE.
VINTAGE:Circa 1990's.
SIZE:Approximately 4-15/16" in height and 3-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, vinyl-coated backing.
