Variant 1980s Submarine Patch for USS Tecumseh SSBN-628

This is a variant 1980s United States Navy submarine patch for the USS Tecumseh SSBN-628, a nuclear ballistic missile submarine. The ship was launched June 22, 1963 from Groton, Connecticut and decommissioned in July 199The patch bears the motto UNITED FOR FREEDOM and has no fleur-de-lis behind the top banner as on standard patches.

Circa 1980s.

Approximately 5-1/8" in height and 3-7/8" in width.
