ARTIFACT:

This is a 1980s-1990s submarine patch for the USS Pasadena (SSN-752). The Pasadena was launched at Groton, Connecticut on September 12, 1987 and is still in service. The boat borrowed its Disney-designed turtle mascot from the World War II cruiser, also named Pasadena. The patch is embroidered with the ship's motto: ANYTIME ANYWHERE.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1980s - early 1990s.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-15/16" square.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, vinyl backing.
