This is an early 1990s submarine patch for the USS Lapon (SSN-661). The Pasadena was launched at Newport News, Virginia on December 16, 196She was decommissioned on August 8, 199The patch is embroidered with the ship's motto: SECRET ET HARDI (secret and bold).
VINTAGE:Circa early 1990s.
SIZE:Approximately 5-7/16" in height and 5" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:The patch you receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LAHX4/12 SAEX2/17
