This is an early 1990s submarine patch for the USS Lapon (SSN-661). The Pasadena was launched at Newport News, Virginia on December 16, 1966. She was decommissioned on August 8, 1992. The patch is embroidered with the ship's motto: SECRET ET HARDI (secret and bold).
Circa early 1990s.
Approximately 5-7/16" in height and 5" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
The patch you receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RGV05 LAHX2/17
