ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1990s patch for the United States Navy USS Olympia SSN-717. The Portsmouth was launched on April 30, 1983 at Newport News, Virginia, and is still in service.

VINTAGE: Circa 1990s.

SIZE: Approximately 4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
