ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1990's patch for the United States Navy USS Tautog SSN-639. The Tautog was launched on April 15, 1967 at Pascagoula, Mississippi. She was decommissioned March 31, 1997. The patch is embroidered with the motto SILENT VIGILANCE.

VINTAGE: Circa 1990's.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto a Deck Jacket.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RGV05 LAIX7/12 SAIX09/02/22

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch shows little wear.
