Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1990's submarine patch for the USS Hartford (SSN-768). She was launched at Groton, Connecticut on December 4, 1993 and is still in service. The patch reads DAMN THE TORPEDOES FULL SPEED AHEAD.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1990's.

SIZE:

Approximately 5" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
