ARTIFACT:

This is a late 1960s submarine patch for the USS Tinosa (SSN-606). The Tinosa was launched at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (Kittery, Maine/Portsmouth, New Hampshire) on December 9, 196She was decommissioned on January 15, 1992.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-1/516" in height and 3-7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT:
