ARTIFACT:
This is a large 1960s Japanese-made patch for the United States Air Force 18th Armament and Electronics Maintenance Squadron (18th A&E Maintron). The patch shows a black hawk outlined in red with a missile flying past a thunderbolt.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1960s.
SIZE:
Approximately 5" in height and 3-1/4" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.

CONDITION:
7- (Very Fine-): The patch has light wear and fading and one unfortunate snip mark on its right side which cuts in about 3/8" from the edge.
