ARTIFACT:
This is a circa early 1960s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 7th Military Airlift Squadron. The 7th was redesignated in 1966 and retained the same name until 1999. The patch shows a thunderbolt passing by a sword being held upright.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1960s.
SIZE:
Approximately 3-1/2" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester/silk threads.
