ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1960s flight jacket (or suit) patch for the United States Air Military Airlift Command. Based at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, the Military Airlift Command operated from 1966 until 1992. The patch shows a globe with a winged bunch of three arrows in front of it.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-7/8" in height and 3-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Force squadron patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAX95 LAHX9/13 SAHX1/17

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some light to medium wear, and shows stitching from where it was attached to a suit or jacket.
