This is a great German-made beer mug for the United States Army 3rd Infantry Regiment, Company G. The group was inactivated in Berlin, Germany in November 194The mug shows the crest for the group along with their nickname (COCKADES) and their motto: NOLI ME TANGERE (touch me not). The back of the mug simply reads THE OLD GUARD.
VINTAGE:Circa 1945-1946.
SIZE:Approximately 5-1/2" height and 5" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Ceramic.
MARKINGS:BAUSCHER WEIDEN with maker's mark.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Mug shows light wear with one small smudge in the border.
