German-Made DI for US Army 405th Infantry Regiment

This is a German-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 405th Infantry Regiment. The DI is a blue shield with a wavy, white swath cut across it diagonally. The DI also reads UP FRONT.

Circa World War II era.

1" height and 7/8" width.

Plated brass with painted areas.

Single screw post with disc backing.
