ARTIFACT: This is an early World War II "clipped wing" shoulder patch for the United States 8th Air Force. It is English-made and shows the number 8 with two shortened golden wings supporting a star.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool embroidered in cotton/silk threads, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX12 LHEX2/12

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The patch shows some light to medium wear.
