This is an early World War II "clipped wing" shoulder patch for the United States 8th Air Force. It is English-made and shows the number 8 with two shortened golden wings supporting a star.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in cotton/silk threads, muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
