This is an early World War II "clipped wing" shoulder patch for the United States 8th Air Force. It is English-made and embroidered in thin threads. It shows the number 8 with two shortened golden wings supporting a star.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 2-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
