This is a circa early World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army Air Forces 8th Air Force. The patch is British-made and is beautifully embroidered in the "clipped wing" design.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in silk/cotton thread, thin cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a WWII USAAF shoulder patch collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX14 LAAEX5/14 SAAEX8/14
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch has only light wear.
