This is a scarce early World War II English-made United States 8th Air Force "clipped wings" shoulder patch. The patch is a fully embroidered variant and shows the number 8 with two shortened golden wings.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/16" in height and 2-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk thread.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a WWII USAAF shoulder patch collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJX14 LAAEX4/14 SAAEX6/16
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch has some light wear only.
