WWII United States Army Air Forces 9th Air Force UK-made shoulder patch, fully embroidered variant. The design shows a winged, gold oval with a red number "9" in the center and above, a white five pointed star with a red disc.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/8" x 2-1/2"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered silk/cotton/polyester thread
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL02 LFJX6/16
CONDITION:9- (Excellent+): The patch shows minor wear, was removed from uniform, overall excellent condition.
