This is a Beautiful & Rare Early WWII UK-Made Bullion shoulder patch for the United States Army Air Forces 8th Air Force in the "clipped wing" design. The patch is embroidered in bullion upon wool felt and has been removed from a uniform.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 2-9/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in silk and bullion thread, treated cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:N/A.
