ARTIFACT:
This is an early style, English-made "clipped wings" shoulder patch for the United States 8th Air Force. The patch is navy blue and shows the number 8 with two shortened golden wings supporting a star.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-5/8" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Printed cotton twill, cotton backing.
