This is an early style, English-made "clipped wings" shoulder patch for the United States 8th Air Force. The patch is navy blue and shows the number 8 with two shortened golden wings supporting a star.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed cotton twill, cotton backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
