Early to Mid-1960s Flying Tiger Line Zippo-Type Presentation Lighter by Zeus 3rd Issue

This is a great early to mid-1960s presentation lighter for the Flying Tiger Line, which began in 1945 as the first commercial air cargo company in the US and was later a military charter outfit until 198The lighter is a Zippo-type made by Zeus is Japan. There is an applied enameled logo on the front of the lighter showing a T at the center of a camera shutter-like design (3rd issue, Type I logo design).

Circa early-mid 1960s.

Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width and 1/2" in thickness

Chrome-plated case and insert, enamel.

Hinge.
