Description
This is an early 1950s stewardess half wing for Flota Aerea Mercante Argentina, established in 1946 under President Peron. FAMA was the first airline in Argentina that wasn't controlled by a foreign company. The wing shows a lovely red and blue embroidered globe at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 2-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered with bullion and cotton/silk threads with paper backing.
