Description
ARTIFACT:
This is a late 1950s Northwest Airlines stewardess half wing. The wing shows a slightly off-center red, white and blue bull's-eye design with an arrowhead-shaped compass needle pointing northwest.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1950s.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:
Gold-plated brass with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:
L maker's mark.
