ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1980s Northwest Airlines flight attendant wing 6th issue. Founded in 1926 as Northwest Airways, the company changed its name in 1933 to be allowed to carry air mail. Northwest merged with Delta Airlines in 2008. The wing is nicely detailed and there is a red, white and blue bull's-eye design at center bearing a smaller wing.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1980s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Diagonal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX12 LHEX2/13

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The wing has very little wear.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
